The Transmission and Influence of Modern Dance Somatics in Cross-cultural Artistic Communication

ABSTRACT

Modern dance, as a unique body art form, plays an important role in cross-cultural communication under the background of globalization. This article aims to explore the spread path, influence, challenge and countermeasures of modern dance body aesthetics in cross-cultural communication. This article deeply analyzes the global communication path of modern dance from its birthplace to all parts of the world, reveals its practice of cross-cultural adaptation and integration, and the ways and effects of cross-cultural communication through international competitions, art festivals, online media and other channels. The results show that modern dance body aesthetics promotes cultural understanding and respect in cross-cultural communication, stimulates artistic innovation, enriches the diversity of global artistic ecology, and promotes public participation and social dialogue by expressing social issues. However, cultural differences and misunderstandings are still the main challenges faced by modern dance body aesthetics in cross-cultural communication. Therefore, this article puts forward some strategies and suggestions, such as strengthening cultural exchange training, innovating cooperation mode and using digital technology, in order to promote the more effective cross-cultural communication of modern dance body aesthetics.
