ABSTRACT
Owing to the wide popularization of quality education in China, all walks of life begin to focus on the ideological and political teaching activities. Due to the special nature of teaching, it is mainly to train practical talents with professional skills and qualities for the society. Ideological and political teaching is greatly essential to the personal development of students. Applying traditional culture to teaching activities can not only help students form correct values, but also improve their professional quality. Thus, traditional culture is greatly essential to teaching activities and progress of students. Based on this, the author analyzes the guiding significance and teaching countermeasures of traditional culture to teaching, hoping to provide help for improving the level of ideological and political teaching.
