ABSTRACT

With the improvement of living standards and aesthetics and the change of social and economic structure, people's function and aesthetic pursuit of modern furniture has also been improved. Ceramic furniture is durable, and the longer people use it, the more valuable it becomes, whether as decoration or everyday furnishings. This is not only its own value, but also the emotional value of its use. Therefore, the development of ceramic furnishings in contemporary exhibition works of art has a huge space. China's four famous pottery should better play their advantages and characteristics, so that more people understand their cultural essence and deep connotation meaning. This paper tries to connect the four famous ceramics in China with modern furniture art display works. China's four famous pottery is straight in the form of arts and crafts, but they are far from meeting people's deep-seated needs. Therefore, according to the characteristics of the four famous pottery, combined with modern display art, we can further analyze the cultural connotation and aesthetic artistic characteristics of ceramics. According to the characteristics of its cultural history, modern furniture art and technology, this paper sorts out the technical and cultural connotation of ceramics as furniture, summarizes the conclusion of artistic style, and puts forward its own views and views on the innovative development of contemporary furniture art. It also discusses the development direction of contemporary decorative art style and the characteristics of modern furniture art.
