ABSTRACT

When it comes to poverty, many people think that it is only a problem of developing countries, but in Japan, poverty is also a social problem that cannot be ignored. By citing the studies of different Japanese sociologists on poverty and wealth disparity in Japan, this paper uses the Marxist worldview and methodology to analyze the development of the idea of poverty and wealth in Japanese society along the time line, thus providing a study of this proposition.
