ABSTRACT
Modern life has led to a decline in physical activity, which may be linked to the risk of cardiovascular disease. The study was designed to find out whether there is an obvious trend between physical activity and cardiovascular health, and whether such relationship varied by gender or race. Triglycerides, high sensitivity C-reactive protein, and HDL have been used as indicators of cardiovascular health. Physical activity was assessed using metabolic equivalent (MET) calculated from the amount of exercise and sedentary time. All data was collected from NHANES '2017-2020 survey. Quantile regression was used in this study.
