ABSTRACT
As global meat consumption increases, factory farming has become the primary production method. Factory farming minimizes the production costs and maximizes the profits and production. However, countless negative consequences have been brought by such a way of animal farming, including but not limited to contributing to global warming, environmental pollution, diseases, and the inhumane treatment of animals. This paper analyzes case studies from around the world to reveal the existing problems in countries’ general legal and tax systems. Then provides potential solutions.
