ABSTRACT
2020 is the end year of building a well-off society in an all-round way. With the continuous promotion of precision poverty alleviation projects, the “three rural areas” problem is being solved one by one, and the living conditions of rural residents have been greatly improved, and the living consumption level has been gradually improved. But there are still some rural families in the stage of food and clothing, and there is still a certain gap between the consumption level of rural residents and urban residents. This paper selects and collates the data from 1985 to 2018, and finds that the consumption level of rural residents is increasing in two stages from the broken line diagram. On the basis of Zou's parameter stability test, using the SPSS and EViews software to establish the piecewise multivariate linear regression equation and carry on the correlation test, to explore the factors and the influence mechanism of the rural residents' consumption from many aspects, and to put forward effective suggestions in order to improve the consumption level of rural residents and promote the development of rural economy.
