ABSTRACT

The problem on non-performing assets of commercial banks is the focus of our country. By analyzing the current situation of non-performing loans in recent years, this paper summarizes that non-performing loans of commercial banks are comprehensively influenced by internal management and risk prevention ability, external borrower credit as well as government intervention and legal system. In order to effectively deal with non-performing assets, this paper puts forward three countermeasure proposals: establishing full-process risk management, building long-term cooperation with trusted customers and fully utilizing social resources, hoping to provide help for commercial banks to reduce non-performing loans.
