ABSTRACT

English is the most popular language in the world language system. As the carrier and crystallization of culture, language is the bridge and link connecting Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges. The penetration of literary education and aesthetic education in college English teaching can comprehensively enhance students. Language literacy and enrichment of students' language accumulation, and to a certain extent, can enhance the students' language and culture awareness, which is beneficial to students' diverse growth and development. This paper takes the application value of literature and aesthetic education in college English education as the starting point, and on the basis of it, the current domestic colleges and universities face defects and deficiencies in the process of English literature and aesthetic education, and improve the overall effect of English teaching through the penetration of literature and aesthetic content, and the integration of college English and literary aesthetic education is effectively promoted.
