ABSTRACT

As the main body of Chinese traditional culture, Confucianism is not only China's social philosophy, but also the Chinese philosophy of life. Through the analysis and summary of the mainstream values of contemporary college students, this paper discusses the Confucianism and its significance in contemporary college education. In recent years, with the revival of Chinese traditional culture, Confucianism has once again received people's attention. Various researches, reports and books on Confucianism culture come into the public view. As a young force in social development, college students have great potential to have a more direct, comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Confucian ideology, as they are the group submerged in this traditional ideology.
