ABSTRACT

Based on the experience of developed countries, this paper theoretically analyzes the effect of medical development on economic growth from the perspective of labor factor input and pharmaceutical innovation industry development. It is thought that the further development of commercial medical insurance in China is more conducive to promoting future economic growth. From the aspects of independent pharmaceutical research and development, centralized procurement of drugs by the government, and anti-corruption in the medical system, the reform of China's medical field was investigated. And the analysis shows that this series of reforms is more conducive to the formation of a virtuous circle between the medical system and economic growth.
