ABSTRACT

With the continuous progress of science and technology, the Internet of Things is more and more widely used in the field of electronic communication, which has brought great changes to various industries. In this paper, the basic components, communication protocols and standards of iot technology are discussed in depth, and its specific applications in the fields of smart home, industrial Internet of Things, intelligent transportation systems and healthcare are analyzed. The article also explores the data bandwidth, latency, energy efficiency, and security and privacy challenges faced by iot technologies in their applications, as well as research trends to address these challenges. Through comprehensive analysis, it aims to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the application of the Internet of Things in the field of electronic communication, and also provide directions for future research.
