ABSTRACT

This paper explores the extensive application of testing and inspection techniques in road and bridge engineering. Performance tests on raw materials such as aggregates, cement, and asphalt reveal the mechanical characteristics and durability of concrete and asphalt, providing a basis for optimizing design and material selection. Structural load tests assess the load-bearing capacity and stability under static and dynamic loading, supporting rational structural design. Environmental impact tests simulate water and temperature conditions to ensure the durability of structures. Data analysis and interpretation transform test data into practical information, guiding engineering decisions. The integrated application of these technologies contributes to improving the safety, reliability, and performance of road and bridge engineering, laying a solid foundation for future infrastructure development.
