ABSTRACT

Rubber itself has excellent wear resistance and high elasticity, which can be utilized to replace aggregates in concrete. The purpose of this paper is to provide a comprehensive review of the current research status on steel tube rubber concrete columns, including their axial compression and seismic resistance, based on the studies conducted by domestic and international researchers. Valuable suggestions are proposed for the future application of steel tube rubber concrete columns in practical engineering. Furthermore, potential research directions are highlighted.
