ABSTRACT

As the standard of living of Chinese residents continues to improve, more and more attention is being paid to community-based urban planning. The traditional planning model is no longer appropriate for residential planning because it goes against the concept of sustainable development of modern cities. This paper discusses the values of new urbanist neighborhood planning based on the concept of sustainability in this context.
