The development of green credit business by commercial banks can not only guide enterprises to establish the concept of environmental protection, but also have an impact on the profitability of commercial banks themselves. This paper takes 20 listed commercial banks as the research subjects and selects data from 2009-2019 to empirically examine the specific impact of conducting green credit business on the profitability of commercial banks in China using a systematic GMM model.
