Understanding and thinking about sandstone-type uranium sedimentary system

ABSTRACT

The mission requirement of self-sufficiency in uranium resources has led to the rapid development of sandstone-type uranium exploration and development. In this paper, the relationship between uranium source, redox environment, sedimentary construction, transport medium, structural ore control and mineralization is studied by combing the literature and working examples related to sandstone-type uranium ore at home and abroad in recent years, and the hypothesis of sandstone-type uranium ore sedimentation system is preliminarily established. Focusing on the five links of the sandstone-type uranium sedimentation system hypothesis of "Raw, Accumulation, Deposition, Transport and Preserve", the research progress and results of each link of the existing sandstone-type uranium ore sedimentation were sorted out, the internal relationship and external evolution of each link were summarized, and his own insights and thoughts were put forward for the establishment of sandstone-type sedimentary system.
