This research examines the impact of ChatGPT releases on the graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA and finds that there is a significant positive cumulative abnormal return in NVIDIA's stock price during the event window around the release of ChatGPT-3.5 and ChatGPT-4 by difference methods. Furthermore, the research also delves into the potential influence of ChatGPT on investors' investment decisions.
