This paper aims to explore the role, responsibility of credit rating agencies in bankruptcy proceedings, and the role of arbitration in resolving rating disputes, and provide relevant lessons from international experiences. In bankruptcy proceedings, credit rating agencies play a crucial role by assessing the credit risk level of debtors and providing reliable rating information, which directly impacts the financing costs of debtors and investors' risk preferences. However, rating agencies also face responsibility and risks. By analyzing international cases and regulatory experiences, valuable insights can be gained. Additionally, this paper will also examine the role of arbitration in resolving rating disputes, emphasizing its significance and necessity in bankruptcy proceedings.
