The "double reduction" policy is an important action of the education reform in China, which aims to reduce the schoolwork burden and exam pressure of students in the compulsory education, in the meantime, also requires students to adapt to the new learning habits and lifestyles as soon as possible. As an important course to cultivate students' aesthetic taste and creativity, art teaching has a close relationship with mental health education. By integrating the concept of mental health into art teaching, it can further promote the emotional catharsis of students in artistic expression and the cultivation of self-awareness, so that can help students grow and develop in an all-round way.
