ABSTRACT

This paper investigates the application of novel antenna design in millimeter-wave communication. The basic concept and characteristics of millimeter-wave communication are introduced, followed by a detailed discussion of the principles, technologies, and classifications of novel antenna design. The architecture and requirements of millimeter-wave communication systems are analyzed, and the application cases of novel antennas in millimeter-wave communication systems are presented, including base station antennas, mobile terminal antennas, and antennas for vehicle communication systems. Experimental methods and result analysis validate the effectiveness of novel antenna design in millimeter-wave communication. Finally, the research findings are summarized, and future directions are discussed.
