ABSTRACT

This study aims to explore how to effectively integrate local cultural relics and historical sites in Xinjiang into the ideological and political education (referred to as "ideological education") curriculum of vocational colleges in Xinjiang. Considering the unique cultural and historical background, this paper analyzes the role of local cultural relics and historical sites in enhancing the diversity and practicality of ideological education course content. Through field investigations and teaching practices, this paper proposes a practical teaching approach aimed at promoting students' understanding and respect for China's diverse culture while enhancing their patriotic sentiments and social responsibility.
